Northampton Peugeot

General Manager

We currently have a vacancy at our Peugeot dealership in Northampton. The Peugeot franchise is a major part of the Bristol Street Group portfolio with seven such franchised dealerships and this presents an ideal opportunity to join the group in a prime location.
We are looking for individuals who can demonstrate excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills. You must be approachable and trustworthy and possess the ability to develop your team and manage change through customer focused strategic planning. This is a superb opportunity for an individual who possesses 3-5 years’ motor retail general management experience. You will be responsible for:-

  • The agreement and implementation of the dealership business plans in order to achieve and exceed planned profitability.
  • The growth and development of the dealership business, infrastructure and systems
  • The management and development of all colleagues in the dealership.
  • The development of the relationship with manufacturer partners, internal and external suppliers, colleagues and customers of the dealership.

IT Department

IT System Support & Helpdesk, Granby Avenue, Birmingham.

The role is to provide and develop a help desk based IT support service to the whole group. The successful candidate will be responsible for resolving ad-hoc IT issues in a timely manner and updating and maintaining a variety of databases using information provided by colleagues. The role will also assist with the roll out of new IT systems and will involve responsibility for back up and daily health checking of the IT systems and services.

The ideal candidate will possess a general all round knowledge of PC’s, operating systems, popular applications, PC Networks and email and will have a keen eye for detail and accuracy. The ability to work under pressure whilst remaining calm and polite at all times is essential for this role, together with the ability to prioritise tasks using existing knowledge of the retail motor industry.

The hours of work and working pattern will be flexible to ensure that the helpdesk is covered during dealership working hours which, therefore, could include some late nights and weekends.

Used Commercial Vehicle Sales Executive (2 vacancies) based at Highgate Ford

Annual Basic £12,000, On Target Earnings £30,000 + Car

This commercial role is vital to the growth and development of our Highgate dealership. You will play a key role in achieving agreed targets for the sale of commercial vehicles and related products, whilst complying with company, manufacturer and legal requirements. You will be responsible for developing positive relationships with partners, internal and external suppliers and our customers, whilst maintaining a full knowledge of all products and services sold in relation to the local and national marketplace.

Reporting to a Sales Controller the successful individuals will be required to sell Used Commercial Vehicles and Finance & Insurance related products over a 5 1/2 day week. Experience in Commercial / Fleet Sales would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be given. The successful candidate will be able to display excellent communication skills, confidence, financial acumen and a desire to succeed and will be responsible for the handling of incoming enquiries to the business. The initial aim of the Sales Executive is to match the driving needs of our customers to the vehicles we stock. Any candidate must be able to satisfy the requirements of the FSA and be of ‘good financial repute’ and must possess a clean valid driving licence.

 

New, Fleet & Commercial Sales Executive based at Birmingham Ford

We are looking for highly motivated, customer-focused individuals to join our Ford dealership. If you have the determination to succeed in a fast-moving environment and the drive to constantly exceed customer expectations this may be the job for you. This vital role requires an individual with exceptional personal and organisational skills, who also possesses the ability to communicate effectively. You should be confident, a team-player and also possess the ability to work on your own initiative.
The role will include liaison with internal departments along with major
fleet operators and suppliers, therefore, an excellent telephone manner is essential. A track record within the industry would be an advantage but not necessarily essential. You will need to be a competent PC user.

Used Commercial Vehicle Sales Controller based at Highgate Ford

Annual Basic £15,000, On Target Earnings £40,000 + Car

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the dealership achieves the commercial vehicle sales that are required, whilst maximising profitability per unit. The main challenges within this role include controlling all deals that are proposed to our customers and helping to direct the sales team, whilst remaining a key member of it. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing commercial enquiries to the Dealership & providing support to our dedicated sales team.
You need to be an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual who is looking for a challenging, rewarding career. Dealership Receptionist

Annual earnings £13,000

Customer satisfaction is key to the success of our business and as the face and voice of our dealership this role plays a pivotal part in delivering it. The successful candidate will supply a professional reception service, dealing with all telephone callers and visitors to the reception area, ensuring a high standard of customer satisfaction. You will be expected to interface directly with customers, establish their immediate needs and put them in touch with the relevant colleague. We are looking for a confident individual with good diction and telephone manner who is capable of projecting a professional image. Previous experience of handling a busy reception area would be an advantage but is not essential.

Commercial Van Sales Executive (Fiat) - Swindon

Annual Basic £20,000, annual on target earnings £30,000+ Car

For either of these positions, you must be tenacious, hard-working and have a natural and structured approach to selling. Experience of the van and truck market is essential as you will be responsible for developing positive relationships with new and existing customers whilst maintaining full knowledge of all products and services sold in relation to the local and national marketplace. You must be a good communicator, with the determination and enthusiasm to succeed and a strong track record within this sector.


Technicians - Avonmouth in Bristol, Gloucester and Swindon

Annual basic £24,000, annual on target earnings £25,000 to £30,000 dependent upon experience.

We are looking for skilled, dedicated commercial vehicle technicians who can deliver a “right first time” repair service. Our technicians are responsible for contributing to customer retention and satisfaction through the provision of accurate and speedy fault diagnosis, efficient rectification and the provision of clear and concise information back to the customer. Applicants must be fully experienced in this field and have a clean, current and full driving licence.

Trainee Service Advisor

Basic Salary £15,000 plus bonus

The purpose of this role is to provide a courteous, professional and advisory service to customers ensuring complete customer satisfaction and maximised Service sales and profitability. After receiving full in-house training, you will be responsible for booking in vehicles, ensuring appointments are convenient for the customer and the company and are compatible with workshop capacity. You will manage job cards and vehicle records and ensure the workshop is loaded with all available work to fully utilise technician hours and will record hours sold. You will meet and greet customers in line with company standards, confirming details before repairs are carried out. To be successful in this role we are looking for an individual who possess first class customer service skills, is an excellent communicator and displays confidence and passion for the business.



Parts Manager

Annual Earnings circa £35,000+ car

You will be an experienced Parts Manager with an ability to deliver results. Ideally you will have existing Peugeot or Citroen experience, however this is not essential. You will have a desire to develop our wholesale business by offering a quality service to our trade customers and the ability to manage your team to ensure optimum performance.



Technicians

Annual earnings based on experience and productivity

ll levels of experience are required. Franchise experience would be an advantage, however, manufacturer based training and development will be ongoing for the successful candidates. Formal qualifications such as City & Guilds / NVQ level 3 are a minimum requirement for these positions. You will be self-motivated and able to demonstrate initiative and a positive ‘can do’ attitude. Hourly rates are dependent on experience and competitive, with an additional bonus scheme to motivate and ensure top performance is rewarded with top rates of pay!
